Asthma Education
Our priorities are:
AGE - we see children aged 0-15 years of age.
Referrals for 15+ are generally seen at the Asthma Clinic at Waikato Hospital.
SEVERITY – severe referrals will be seen as a priority then moderate and mild cases.
REFERRALS – NOTE: We accept self referrals for asthma education - get in touch.
Spirometry
Spirometry Testing
Asthma Waikato no longer takes spirometry referrals or offers spirometry testing. However, if spirometry testing is required and is not something that is offered in your local GP clinic, we recommend contacting Priya Pattni, Clinical Physiologist CRFS at Lung Heart Diagnostics or emailing her a referral letter. Phone: 022 519 1160 email: info@lungheartdiagnostics.co.nz. Priya not only does spirometry testing but she also does other specialised respiratory tests too.
